How often are the dinners?
About once a month, normally on the weekend. We will entertain private events for members and their guests up to 12. You can find out about our next dinner and all Plate By Dzintra events on our Calendar page.
When is the next dinner?
You can view upcoming Suppers and all Plate By Dzintra events on the Calendar Page. More information about Dzintra’s Supper Club can be found in the Our Supper Club section.
How much does it cost for the supper club?
The price is $60 per person. The price may vary slightly depending on the selection of ingredients used.
How much does it cost for catering?
As each event is custom-made, the price will of course depend on the number of people attending the event and the selection of ingredients used. You can learn more about catering on our Catering page.
How much does it cost for cooking classes?
The price is $50 per person, and this includes a generous and delicious sampling of everything made.
Does the price include wine?
These events are all BYOB. We will make suggestions on wine selection if asked, but are unable to supply alcohol.
What kind of food will you serve?
Depends on what’s fresh and in season. We like to use local markets, however sometimes we will import food products directly from other parts of the world. We have had the opportunity to live and travel all over the world and our menu selection reflects this. Whatever it is, it will be guaranteed to be fresh, delicious, and elegantly presented. Can I see a menu in advance?
We will send a theme and sometimes a menu. Often, we select what is fresh and is in season at the time. We also offer special dinners with requested menus for special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and reunions, again up to 12 people. We have an entire section on our menus. What if I have food allergies?
If you have serious allergies or have certain food restrictions, let us know at the time you make your reservations, and we’ll try to accommodate within reason.
Can I bring a friend?
Members can bring friends, but make the reservations at the same time.
Can I bring kids?
We can’t accommodate children, even though we do enjoy children.
Is there a dress code?
These are dinner parties so please dress accordingly. Dress for an elegant, yet relaxed, dinner.
Can you cook and what are your credentials?
Extremely well, and was raised by wolves. Seriously, I have multiple professional degrees from The Cordon Bleu in Paris in both cuisine and pastry, and have catered many of the finer restaurants in New York. I have organized and catered many parties and affairs both in Paris and in New York. I also worked for The Ritz Escoffier school of cuisine in Paris. Plus, my mom taught me.
Why are you doing this and will you join the dinner?
Refer to raised by wolves. No, again seriously, we will be your hosts but will only serve and in some cases entertain you. We do this because we truly enjoy doing this, plus wolves are very social.
